Carl G. Erickson
Carl G. Erickson is Principal and a Director of Taylor, Cottrill, Erickson & Associates, Inc. His primary responsibility is portfolio management for Wealth Management clients. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1973, he began his investment career when he joined Dean Witter & Co., Inc. (now Morgan Stanley) in 1975, beginning as a broker in Chicago but then becoming a Regional Director of Tax Advantaged Investments in 1978. Mr. Erickson moved to Winthrop Financial, a privately held real estate and investment firm in Boston, in 1981 and became a partner in 1982. He “retired” for about a month in 1991 when the firm was sold and formed Whitegate Investment Counselors, Inc. in late 1991. He grew that firm from zero assets under management to over $400 million by the time it merged with Taylor Cottrill, LLC in late 2015 to form Taylor, Cottrill, Erickson & Associates, Inc.
